2010 Season Tryout Proceedure

Prior to attending an open or invite only tryout players are required to preregister Online. Click here to preregister

Players must bring to the tryout and provide at checkin prior to entering the field a copy of their birth certificate and 1"x1" color head-shot photo (no hats, no sunglasses in photo). View the tryout dates and times by clicking 'Training Calendar' on the left. Questions: Email Aaron Castro

   
2010 Season Update

In order to provide players with the best experence and opportunities for exposure, the Academy will enter the U.S. Open Cup Tournament in 2010 and compete in the NorCal Premier League. In addition, the team will compete in the United Soccer League's PDL Division for a national championship in 2011. Further, PSA will continue to expose the players to our partners in the UK in terms of coaching and player exchanges.
   

David Frank Hired as Storm Head Coach

The Storm is excited to announce the hiring of David Frank as the team's Head Coach. Mr. Frank is aUC Santa Cruz graduate where he led the team as captain to an NCAA Final Four appearance.

David then began caoching the UC Santa Cruz men's team as an Assistant Coach and Director of the Catalyst Soccer Player Development Program in Santa Cruz and Monterey County while playing for the San Jose Frogs FC.

   

WHY PLAY FOR PSA?

Be part of a professional organization consisting of a very experienced coaching and operational staff.

Exposure to professional clubs. In 2009, the following visited PSA: Manchester United's Chief Scout Jim Lawlor, Liverpool FC Academy Coaches Magnus Alford and David Platt, Everton Chile FC's first team Goalkeeper Coach Carlos Shulze. PSA has already sent youth players to Sunderland AFC and Watford FC in the UK to experience a week's training at their Academies.

Each player will receive an APJCC membership allowing access to fitness

 

gym, gymnasium, pool, sauna/steam rooms and much more.

Awesome facility at the APJCC in Los Gatos - locker room, shower facilities, gymnasium for futsol training, classrooms for chalk talk and match video review room.

Exciting home games created by an intimate setting and hundreds of fans generated via the youth academy players and families as well as the APJCC membership.
